[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2022: A digitised copy of S.E.K. Mqhayi's book. The book is written in isiXhosa. It is unclear what edition of the book this is, but it is not the first edition. Set during the time of King Hintsa, it tells the fictional story of a pair of twins in legal dispute over their inheritance. The book also comments on the pratice of ingqithi, or "finger cutting".]

[Source - Henry Fagan for FHYA, 2022: Written by S.E.K. Mqhayi before 1914. This copy was published in 1931 by The Lovedale Press in Alice. A copy was acquired by the National Library of South Africa (NLSA) at an unknown date. Following a request from FHYA, the book was digitsed by the NLSA in January 2022 and sent to the FHYA. Uploaded by Benathi Marufu for FHYA in February 2022.]
